Use Bartle instead - thanos tsouanas - Athens, Greece
If you put this book right next to Bartle's book, you will soon realize that Kubrusly's book is actually Bartle in disguise. So get Bartle's book which is excellent, and avoid this one which seems more like a rewording of Bartle's. Why reword Bartle? Bartle has chosen his words and his overall exposition carefully. Kubrusly even leaves for the reader the same things that Bartle does.
2 stars in stead of just 1, because he is decent (and bold) enough to cite Bartle in each Chapter's "Suggested Reading" Section.

Very good book.
This is the kind of book that if you have the patience of reading it all with care you can understand it all. The proofs are well written without skipped steps so that you can really understand.
